TEMPORARY EXHIBITION: NAPOLÉON N’EST PLUS – AFTER CLOSING TIME

Discover the Musée de l'Armée's new exhibit, "Napoléon n’est plus" ("Napoleon is No More”) as an after-hours guided tour.

For the 200th anniversary of the death of Napoleon I, the Musée de l'Armée revisits the legend surrounding this historic personality. From exiled emperor to demigod, the representation of Napoleon in works of art and archived documents will be presented to you in an exceptional context in an after-hours setting.

Your guide won't simply interpret the multitude of stories created around the emperor's death. You'll have all the clues you'll need to investigate the exact circumstances of this event and the repercussions it's had on the collective imagination. Death mask, letters, maps, last will and testament...all these elements will be presented to you to help you unlock this historical episode.

Health and safety measures related to COVID 19:
For visitors over 12 years old, a valid Health Pass (Pass Sanitaire) and an ID document will be required to access the Musée de l'Armée :
• Completion of a full vaccination scheme (1 week after second injection)
• A negative RT-PCR or antigenic test from less than 48 hours
• A positive RT-PCR test result demonstrating recovery from Covid-19, at least 11 days old and less than 6 months old
The Health Pass can be printed or showed on the tousanticovid app. The measure doesn't apply to visitors under 12 y.o.

The Musée de l'Armée wish to offer you a safe, warm welcome and guarantee respect for physical distancing and protective measures to ensure your peace of mind.
Wearing a mask (not provided) is compulsory for visitors over 11 years old, and the tour circuit is designed to respect a one-way traffic flow. Similarly, signage is present throughout the site and recalls the barrier measures to be observed.
For everyone's safety, our guides and the Musée de l'Armée staff will be wearing masks.
Hydroalcoholic gel is made available in the museum spaces.
