This guided tour will immerse you into the Carnot neighbourhood of the Republican Guard near the Vincennes Castle. This place hosts two out of the three squadrons of the last cavalry regiment of the French army.
From the moment you will cross the entrance, the idea of a “countryside in Paris” will impress you: the immensity of the place of 8 hectares and the calm in contrast with the Parisian busy life.

Your guide will tell you the history of this neighbourhood: built in 1892, it is located at the centre of an important military garrison at the gates of Paris.
Our guide will show you a carousel, a stable to admire 30 horses (out of the 200 staying here), and the coal forge where the blacksmiths perpetuate this artisanal know-how.

Health and safety measures related to COVID 19:
Health Pass (Pass Sanitaire), although not mandatory, is strongly recommended:
• Completion of a full vaccination scheme (1 week after second injection)
• A negative RT-PCR or antigenic test from less than 48 hours
• A positive RT-PCR test result demonstrating recovery from Covid-19, at least 11 days old and less than 6 months old
The Health Pass can be printed or showed on the tousanticovid app. The measure doesn't apply to visitors under 12 y.o.
The French Republican Guard and the Cultival teams wish to offer you a safe, warm welcome and guarantee respect for physical distancing and protective measures to ensure your peace of mind.
For everyone's safety, our guides will be wearing masks.
Wearing a mask (not provided) is compulsory for visitors over 11 years old, and the tour circuit is designed to respect a one-way traffic flow.
It is forbidden to touch anything during the visit.

Security:
BE CAREFUL For security reasons, you will be asked to fill in an information sheet with the surnames, first names, places and dates of birth of the participants in the visit maximum 3 days before the visit. Any visitor who has not completed the form within this period will not have access to the visit.
An identity document will be requested at the entrance.
Individuals : forbidden to children under 8 y.o. – Groups : forbidden to groups with children under 12 y.o.

Respect of the site activity:
Do not approach horses less than 1 m - Photos allowed (no flash)
The summer season is a moment of rest for horses, therefore there is a limited number of horses on the site in summer.
The Republican Guard being a place of work, riders will not necessarily be training during these visits.
