YVES SAINT LAURENT, BEHIND THE SCENES OF HAUTE COUTURE IN LYON
30.06 to 05.12.2021
Come and (re)discover the event-exhibition "Yves Saint Laurent - Behind the scenes of haute couture in Lyon" at the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Paris, which attracted more than 80,000 visitors during its presentation at the Textile Arts Museum in Lyon!
The genius of Yves Saint Laurent, often recognised for the unique nature of his designs, also lies in his knowledge of fabrics. This exhibition highlights his collaboration with the most famous haute couture houses in Lyon. During your guided tour, you will be able to see unique pieces that bear witness to over forty years of collaborative work.
With this tour of the museum (before it opens to the public at 11 am), Cultival invites you to discover the creative process of Yves Saint Laurent, intimately linked to the savoir faire of Lyon. Crepes, muslins, taffetas and velvets will no longer hold any secrets for you... We look forward to seeing many of you for this immersion in the world of one of the greatest couturiers of the 20th century!
The Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris opened its doors in October 2017 on the historic site of the former haute couture house. The couturier’s studio is included in the visit of the museum. A true pioneer, Yves Saint Laurent is the only creator of his generation to have archived all his work since the establishment of his company.
A unique visit to a historic site in the heart of elegant Paris.
