New! Until 13/02/22, Cultival will include a part of the contemporary art tour “Napoleon? Encore!" in your visit. You will discover works of art that query the image of Napoleon, at the same time showcasing the venue's exceptional architecture.
NOTE: Your visit will not be focused on this contemporary art tour. But your guide will be able to show you several major works of art.
This unusual guided tour will offer you the opportunity to enter into the heart of the Hôtel national des Invalides in Paris. You will discover anecdotes, unusual facts and legends all along the tour.
Your guide will begin with a presentation of the history and architecture of Les Invalides, which will allow you to get an insight of the daily routine of the residents who lived there back in the 17thcentury.
As a privileged visitor, you will discover the Quesnoy Salon and the mysterious Governors’ vault. Your guided tour will then continue in the Cathedral Saint-Louis des Invalides where you will discover some stories related to the French Revolution as well as the presence of Rouget de Lisle at Les Invalides.
Your guide will then lead you into the monumental Dome Church –a military pantheon in which the graves of Turenne, Vauban, Foch, Lyautey and Napoleon I are housed, under its magnificent golden cupola where you will also discover the very secret Fieschi vault
For your visit's comfort, your ticket includes the access to collections and temporary exhibitions. It will allow you to continue your exploration of the Musée de l'Armée in complete freedom at the end of your guided tour.
For visitors over 12 years old, a valid Health Pass (Pass Sanitaire) and an ID document will be required. To get information about the Pass Sanitaire, please refer to the French Government website or the Ministry for Europe and Foreign affairs website.
The Health Pass can be printed or showed on the tousanticovid app. The measure doesn't apply to visitors under 12 y.o.
The Musée de l'Armée wish to offer you a safe, warm welcome and guarantee respect for physical distancing and protective measures to ensure your peace of mind.
Wearing a mask (not provided) is compulsory for visitors over 11 years old, and the tour circuit is designed to respect a one-way traffic flow. Similarly, signage is present throughout the site and recalls the barrier measures to be observed.
For everyone's safety, our guides and the Musée de l'Armée staff will be wearing masks.
Hydroalcoholic gel is made available in the museum spaces.

Due to the events programmed in the Musée de l’Armée, the access to the Quesnoy salon cannot be guaranteed.
