For the first time, the museum invits you to discover its collections in English : the 7th of august. We advise you to booked your ticket. Visits start at 10.30 am.

Having undergone a complete renovation in 2012, the Musée Nationale Adrien Dubouché houses the largest public collection of Limoges porcelain in the world. Further to this, the museum also displays 18,000 pieces that catalogue the history of ceramics from Antiquity to the modern day. As such, the museum is not only dedicated to promoting the international renown of Limoges’ porcelain manufacturers, but also to celebrating the ceramic art form as a whole.

This guided tour, led by a nationally accredited guide, is the best way to discover the museum’s magnificent collection. Let yourself be taken on a journey through time, from remarkable Greek pottery to modern ceramics, featuring fascinating Chinese porcelain, Renaissance-era earthenware, and masterpieces from the 19th century – and Limoges’ own porcelain.

In order to limit the exchange of documents and to better organize the arrival of visitors to the museum, it is advisable to book your time-stamped ticket online. However, on-site payment is still authorized.

The museum wishes to offer you a quality welcome imbued with serenity by guaranteeing respect for physical distancing and protective measures.
A valid health pass (Pass Sanitaire) is required to access to the museum for visitors over 17 y.o. (from September 30, for all the visitors over 12 y.o.).
Wearing a mask (not provided) is compulsory for visitors over 11 y.o., the visit has been designed to respect a one-way traffic, protective windows have been deposed at reception and ticket office, regular cleaning of contact points, hydroalcoholic gel available all along the visit, luggage lockers are temporarily unavailable.

The museum is open daily (excluding Tuesdays) from 10am-12.30pm and 2pm-5.45pm.
The museum is also closed on December 25th and January 1st of each year.
