Exhibition Ticket - Made in Situ by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance

For the first time, designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance presents the complete Made in Situ project, bringing together seven collections of furniture and objects in an immersive exhibition created especially for the Galerie des Gobelins.

Launched in Portugal in 2017, Made in Situ explores the concept of situated design, combining a place, a material and local craftsmanship to create unique collections. From ceramics and cork to bronze, carved wood, schist, and hand-painted tiles, each piece is born of a dialogue among artisan, material, and landscape. Inspired by the forms of the natural world, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance invites visitors on a sensory journey in which artistic installations, light, soundscapes, and natural materials come together to create an immersive experience.

Each collection is presented alongside works selected from the Mobilier National collections by craft historian Hugues Jacquet. These carefully curated pairings create a unique dialogue between heritage and contemporary creation, encouraging visitors to reflect on our relationship with nature, materials and the decorative arts.

Blending design, craftsmanship and heritage, Made in Situ offers a richly immersive experience in which every creation tells the story of a place, a craft and a material.
