For children aged 2 to 5 years old, the little ones are also welcome at the museum! Designed especially for them and their parents, these visits are structured in several stages: observation, hands-on activities, and games. A gentle introduction and an engaging way to discover life in a cultural venue.
Please note: accompanying adults pay the activity fee just like the child.
[Fully booked] - On Wednesday, October 21 at 10:30 a.m., join the tour “Kaolin or Trick?” This special Halloween activity is back! There’s no time to waste: Porcelain the Dog must quickly find some kaolin before Dégourdi the mummy, or he risks being turned into porcelain! Afterwards, continue the fun with your child by creating your very own magic wand. And if you or your child love witches and pumpkins, come dressed up!
Wednesday, November 25 at 10:30 a.m., something is happening at the museum… It looks like a shadow-puppet show featuring Porcelain the Dog! Find the characters and scenery from the story among the museum’s collections, then enjoy a cheerful and poetic little performance. Children and adults alike can decorate charming porcelain figures to create their very own little puppets.
[Fully booked] - On Sunday, December 20 and Wednesday, December 23 at 10:30 a.m., join the tour entitled “Gifts Under the Christmas Tree.” Christmas is just around the corner! To celebrate the festive season, Porcelain the Dog has prepared a tour full of wonderful surprises to discover under the museum’s Christmas tree. Afterwards, take part in a creative workshop and create a Christmas scene featuring… your very own porcelain dog!
Booking is recommended. One adult per child. This activity is intended for children aged 2 to 5; children outside this age range will not be admitted.
