Discover your guided tour
From the age of 6, children can come and discover the museum without their parents! Enjoy a two-hour activity including a fun, interactive tour of the collections followed by a hands-on art workshop, all led by a professional museum guide.
Please note: this activity is exclusively for children aged 6 to 12, attending without an accompanying adult. Younger children will not be admitted.
On Thursday, October 22 at 10 a.m., sign your child up for the workshop tour entitled “My Porcelain Turtle – with ceramic artist Anne Merlet.” Over the course of two hours, children will discover the casting technique and learn how porcelain is made by creating their very own turtle! They will have the opportunity to try out this fascinating technique before adding decorative elements to their porcelain turtle.
On Thursday, October 29 at 2:30 p.m., sign your child up for the workshop tour entitled “Witch’s Hat and Bats.” The museum team needs the children’s help! They will set off in search of the friendly ghosts who move objects around and play tricks on visitors. After foiling their mischievous pranks, the children will make Halloween decorations out of clay, either for the museum or to take home.
On Thursday, December 24 at 10:30 a.m. and Wednesday, December 30 at 2:30 p.m., sign your child up for the workshop tour entitled “Hot Chocolate for the Christmas Holidays.” What could be better than curling up in an armchair with a story and a delicious hot chocolate? But first, you need a cup! Children will discover the collections through this activity before heading to the workshop to paint and personalise their very own porcelain cup!
Each visit is limited to 12 participants. Reservations are recommended.

The fee is a flat rate (including entrance) of €10 per child.
Activity for children aged 6 and up to 12, without accompanying adults. Children under 6 years of age will not be accepted.
We recommend that you bring easy-care clothing or a protective T-shirt for these workshops.
